Realm of the Mourning Star (Prototype Version)
Game Overview: Realm of the Mourning Star is a dark fantasy adventure game where you step into the shoes of a prince, the last survivor of his betrayed royal family. Revived with no memory, you explore a mysterious shadowed world to uncover the truth of your past. This prototype focuses on basic exploration and progression mechanics, providing a glimpse of the immersive experience planned for the full version.
How to Play:
- Objective:
- Collect all memory fragments scattered across the level.
- Once all fragments are collected, touch the glowing green goal to complete the level.
- Controls:
- Arrow Keys or WASD: Move the player character.
- Progression:
- Successfully completing the level transitions you to a completion screen.
Features in the Prototype:
- Exploration: Navigate a 2D environment to collect memory fragments.
- Progress Tracker: A UI element shows your progress as you collect fragments.
- Goal Activation: Interact with the goal to transition scenes once fragments are collected.
- Dark Fantasy Aesthetic: A visually immersive placeholder background gives a hint of the gothic atmosphere to come.
Important Notes:
- This is an early prototype and does not represent the final visuals, mechanics, or story of the game.
- Placeholder graphics and simplified mechanics are used to showcase core gameplay concepts.
Planned Features:
- Combat: Battle shadow creatures and other enemies guarding your path.
- Narrative Choices: Make moral decisions that will shape the fate of the realm.
